Calling from a cell phone you could have "What I liked today in school" reports, one from a different kid each day.

I think this is an indicator of how the web is becoming more accessible. We traditionally think of accessing the web from a computer, but more and more frequently we see devices like cell phones, GPS mapping devices (in cars), etc. One application we could use for cell phone to blog recording might be end of day thoughts as participants leave a workshop. If dialogue could be shared so easily, think about extending the learning beyond the workshop and back to a school.... the commenting could be a way to extend or continue the learning community.

This is a great way for teachers to make content accessible to students who have trouble with reading. For instance, a teacher could record herself/himself reading the chapter aloud (let's say in science or social studies) and then post this podcast to the web. Students could listen on a computer as they follow along in the book, or download it onto their ipod and do the same.
